Katie
I had always been a very casual Marvel fan, growing up watching the 90s Spider-Man cartoon and renting Iron Man from Blockbuster to watch with my family at the ripe age of 7. It wasn’t until Avengers: Age of Ultron that I became a hardcore fan, turning into someone who diligently watches the movies the Thursday before their official release, takes their lunches to watch the new show episodes, and has an array of comics and Funko Pops in my collection.
I am very passionate about all the characters and the amazing plots that make up the MCU. I always enjoy hearing others’ points of view on what they think something means and scour the internet and social media for theories constantly. I also love hearing new theories that really allow me to think deeper into something that I hadn’t thought of myself.
I think that Marvel brings so many people together and the conversations you can have with someone from across the world about something you both love can be so engaging and thought-provoking. My hope is that Marvel fans are really able to express their thoughts and feelings about one of our favorite hobbies in a community-based area. So whether you only visit once or become a weekly subscriber, I welcome you and hope you find some interesting theories and join in the conversation while here!

If I’m a nerd about two things in this world it’s a good podcast and the MCU. So, when the idea of creating a podcast with Katie came up, it seemed like a perfect creative outlet. And so, the Let’s Talk: Marvel Fan Theories podcast was born.
I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t been a fervent fan from the beginning. I’d casually watch the movies when the opportunity arose, but it was Captain America: Civil War that changed everything for me – that movie made me into the fan I am today.
Thanks to Civil War, I’m a fixture on opening weekend, and being a Marvel fan Is one of my defining personality traits (I once forced myself into a theatre seat three days post-surgery to make it opening weekend – there was no way I wouldn’t be there for Endgame). But, the best part is that I can and do surround myself with others who are just as passionate and always ready to have a discussion about the latest movie, trailer, or theory. And now, I get to share that with you!
Thank you so much for letting us share our love for Marvel with you and taking part in our community!

Starting the Podcast
So here’s the rundown: We were both chilling at our parent’s house because of the whole COVID situation. We couldn’t stop talking about Marvel, especially with all the new Phase Four content dropping. We’d have these epic debrief sessions in our rooms after watching the latest stuff. Katie, who was still in college at the time, turned it into a cool project — a website all about Marvel Theories. And you know what? We took it to the next level and started recording our debriefs, turning it into a legit podcast and blog. It’s been a wild ride, my friend and we’re glad you’re here for the ride!
